Cancellation Policy - No refunds will given after November 15th; any cancellation requests must be received at info@yrds.ca by Nov 15th at the latest for full refund.
Meal Choices - dinner options are beef, chicken, fish or vegetarian. If no option is selected, vegetarian is assumed. Once meals are selected, it cannot be changed.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This evidence-based presentation will review the current concepts on the diagnosis and treatment of peri-implantitis. Etiology, prevention, and maintenance protocols will also be discussed. Although there is still much to learn about peri-implantitis, this presentation will make clear what we do know and how we can use this knowledge in our daily practice to enhance patient outcomes.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
At the completion of the program, participants should be able to:
1. Review the current definitions and diagnostic criteria for peri-implant diseases.
2. Understand putative etiologic factors attributed to causing peri-implantitis.
3. Understand the various non-surgical and surgical treatment modalities for peri-implantitis.
4. Utilize evidence-based strategies for prevention of peri-implantitis.
5. Implement maintenance protocols for peri-implantitis patients.

Board Certified Specialist in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery
Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology
Clinical Instructor and Lecturer, Department of Periodontology, University of Toronto
Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Periodontics, University of Pennsylvania
Dr. Vinay Bhide is a board-certified periodontist who provides the full scope of surgical periodontal and dental implant therapy. Dr. Bhide has a special interest in esthetic and reconstructive periodontics. Dr. Bhide completed his dental and speciality training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Bhide is an Examiner and Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. In addition to private practice, Dr. Bhide is a clinical instructor in the Graduate Periodontology Program at the University of Toronto and he is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bhide has lectured nationally and internationally and published on various topics related to periodontics and implantology.

Enjoy a fun afternoon skating with your family and fellow YRDS colleagues!
This event is free for YRDS members, spouses and children. Unfortunately skate rentals are not available at the arena, so please bring your own skates!!
