About York Region Dental Society

The York Region Dental Society was created and is controlled by the Ontario Dental Association. The society was created in 1994, and is now the second largest dental society in Ontario. Our membership has grown exponentially every year and we are nearly 900 members strong. We support dentists in Markham, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Vaughn and other municipalities.

The society is dedicated to promoting ethical and professional dental care for our community. We provide educational meetings and continuing education courses for our members. We offer many networking opportunities (with other dentists) and various events organized by our volunteer executive committee. We are also involved in plenty of charitable work in our community. We take great pride in being the voice for dentists in the York Region and in increasing public awareness about oral health care. And we are thrilled to tell you that membership is free!
